Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Utilize kitchen equipment and tools, including knives, to create high-quality meals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Participate in catering events as required, ensuring that all dishes meet the expected quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
