Grandma Did It Better is a fast-growing vintage fashion concept based in SoHo. We curate one-of-a-kind pieces, build thoughtful collections, and treat fashion as culture—not fast inventory. We're looking for a sharp, motivated, detail-oriented person to help us run and evolve our inventory and merchandising operations. This role is hands-on, operational, and creative at the same time. You'll work directly with the founders and be close to how decisions actually get made.
What you'll do (day-to-day):
- Merchandise the sales floor—styling displays, refreshing layouts, and ensuring the space reflects the brand
- Label, tag, categorize, and log all incoming inventory
- Track items moving between storage, alterations, and the sales floor
- Help manage stock levels and identify gaps or over-concentration
- Coordinate and track alterations and repairs
What you'll also get to do (the cool part):
- Work alongside the founders on collection building and curation
- Help think through inventory and merchandising strategy (what to buy, what to hold, what to push, what to feature)
- Contribute to supply-chain logic and sourcing flow
Who this is for:
- Someone young, hungry, and detail-driven
- You care about fashion (vintage, design, or production)
- You like structure, lists, and clean systems—but also have taste and curiosity
- You have an eye for visual storytelling and styling
Backgrounds that work well:
- Fashion exposure: past employment, degree, deep interest
- People with inventory / ops / warehouse / stockroom / merchandising experience
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Employee discount
- Paid time off
Work Location: In person
