FIS Blue, headquartered in Oriskany, NY, a leading manufacturer of fiber optic cable assemblies and components used in the broadcast, military, aerospace, satellite, and related industries has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative to join its growing team. Full training will be provided. No prior fiber optic industry experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information and quotations
- Follow up on leads and sales opportunities
- Process orders and coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate fiber optic cable and tubing solutions
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity reports
- Assist with trade shows and customer visits
- Travel approximately one week per quarter for customer meetings and industry events
- Meet and exceed sales goals and performance objectives
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous sales, customer service, or inside sales experience is preferred but not required
- Associate's Degree preferred but not required.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
