The City of Tipton is seeking qualified applicants for part time EMS providers at the EMT, AEMT and Paramedic certification level with at least one year of prehospital experience. The Tipton Ambulance Service operates two ambulances runs an average of 600 calls per year using a hybrid staffing approach. Applicants must be comfortable working with minimal supervision in stressful environments and willing to function in administrative and educational functions when not on calls.
Preferred applicants should seek to be expanding their knowledge as a EMS provider in a rural setting and have an interest in engaging with the community through public outreach and education.

Requirements
State of Iowa Certification as an EMT/ AEMT/ Paramedic, AHA certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and within 6 months BLS Instructor. Prior to hire, candidates will need to complete a drug screening, criminal background check and physical capacity test.
