Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, driven, and trend-conscious Marketing & Events Coordinator to grow our brands both online and in the community. In this role, you will be the creative spark behind our online marketing, in-store visual promotion, and local community engagement/events. You will manage our social media, email newsletters, text marketing, and design eye-catching store signage. The ideal candidate is a fun yet professional self-starter who loves the thrill of the thrift, values the sustainability of resale, and excels at turning people into loyal consignors, donors, and shoppers from far and wide.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media & Content Creation: Shoot, edit, and post engaging content (TikToks, Reels, stories) highlighting unique inventory, thrift hauls, and styling tips.
- Email & SMS Marketing: Design and send weekly email newsletters and text alerts regarding new arrivals, clearance events, and consignment payouts, etc.
- Event Planning & Community Engagement: Conceptualize and host small-scale events, such as sip-and-shops, sidewalk sales, styling workshops, and charity clothing drives.
- In-Store Signage & Visuals: Create clean, fun, and informative physical signs and/or displays to guide shoppers and highlight promotions.
- Local Travel: Travel to store locations to capture content as well as expand each store’s network with local communities.
Qualifications
- Fun & Professional Vibe: Approachable and outgoing with the professional maturity to represent the business reliably while also being receptive to constructive criticism and/or feedback.
- Thrift & Resale Passion: Deep appreciation for secondhand fashion, vintage goods, sustainable shopping, and the circular economy.
- Digital Marketing Savvy: Proficient in managing social channels and using email/SMS marketing platforms (e.g. Constant Contact, SumUp, etc.).
- Graphic Design Basics: Competent using tools like Canva to quickly create polished online graphics and printable in-store signage and/or physical advertisements.
- Self-Driven Execution: Highly organized self-starter capable of managing a multi-platform content schedule and a promotion/event calendar independently.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local daily travel and potential events.
