Job Summary
Join our vibrant and energetic team as a full-time Play Cafe manager! In this dynamic role, you will create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for children and their families. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service to children and their families.
- Manage the rest of the team, provide training and troubleshooting, and oversee scheduling.
- Oversee daily operations of the play cafe, including supervising play areas, keeping play areas clean and organized, and making beverages for customers in a small cafe.
- Manage transactions accurately using POS systems and process payments efficiently.
- Ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times, including monitoring play areas for hazards and responding promptly to incidents.
- Facilitate event management for weekend birthday parties, coordinating setup and cleanup as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the play space, food service areas, and retail sections.
Requirements
- Management experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
- Ability to manage conflict positively while maintaining a calm presence under pressure.
- Previous barista experience is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with retail sales and customer service is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for guest interactions.
