Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support a legal team with real estate transactions, leasing matters, corporate governance, and financing activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and lease transactions in a collaborative in-house legal environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and interested in developing expertise in commercial real estate law. This position supports multiple active transactions, helping ensure documentation, deadlines, and compliance requirements are managed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Support commercial real estate transactions from due diligence through closing and post-closing activities
- Prepare, organize, and maintain transaction documents, checklists, and electronic files
- Coordinate document execution and signatures with internal and external stakeholders
- Draft and revise leasing documents, including amendments, estoppels, and related agreements using established templates
- Prepare lease abstracts and summarize key lease terms
- Assist with title, survey, due diligence, financing, and closing matters
- Maintain corporate records, entity governance documents, and compliance filings
- Coordinate with outside counsel, lenders, title companies, and business partners to support transaction execution
- Track critical deadlines, milestones, and post-closing requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 3+ years of experience in a law firm, title company, commercial real estate organization, or similar environment
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Understanding of commercial real estate transactions and legal documentation

- Loan or financing documentation

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
