RV Service Technician
Full-Time | Competitive Pay Based on Experience
PC Mechanical is seeking an experienced and motivated RV Service Technician to join our growing team in Santa Maria, CA. We are looking for someone with strong diagnostic and repair skills who takes pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and repairing RV coach systems, generators, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance items. If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy solving mechanical problems, we’d like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair RV mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance systems
- Perform coach body and general maintenance repairs
- Complete repair and replacement services efficiently and accurately
- Track and document parts and materials used during repairs
- Communicate repair progress and findings with supervisors
- Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist with additional shop duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of service technician experience or related field preferred
- RV experience strongly preferred
- RVIA certification is a plus, but not required
- Technical school or trade certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, maintenance, or related field is helpful
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and crawl for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and move up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Comfortable working around electrical and welding equipment
- Ability to work in varying shop and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, humidity, and noise
