Chef Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of cooks, dishwashers, and kitchen assistants to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents and patients
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure timely and efficient service delivery to meet the needs of our residents and patients
- Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest culinary trends and techniques
Chef Manager Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in a similar culinary management role
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification a plus
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, patients, and staff
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
