Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless project workflows.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to accurately interpret project requirements and specifications.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and bid evaluations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to design plans like Civil 3D or other schematics.
- Facilitate effective project coordination through clear communication of schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Maintain comprehensive records of project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Support contract negotiations and enforce contractual obligations with subcontractors and vendors.
- Apply strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a minimum of several years working on large-scale commercial or civil construction projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar tools such as Microsoft Project.
- Hands-on construction site experience with a thorough understanding of blueprint reading and schematics like Civil 3D or other technical drawings.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes utilizing HeavyBid or equivalent software is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of contracts administration, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices within the construction industry.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across various phases of construction projects with excellent project management skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, and other digital tools for documentation and collaboration is a plus.
- Ability to effectively manage time-sensitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments. Pay: $64,505.06 - $150,000.00 per year
