Medical Eyeglass Center is looking for a highly motivated, organized and collaborative team player to help manage the contact lens business for our offices! This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to take ownership and complete all activities of contact lens operations
- Assist providers and opticians with all aspects of contact lens sales and related questions
- Complete and process all contact lens orders (including specialty and medically necessary lenses) on time and accurately using MEC’s point of sales systems
- Assist patients with questions regarding orders, appointments and benefits
- Attain all sales, collections and performance goals established by MEC
- Maintain all contact lens web based orders
- Provide patients with proper lens wear and care information
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of orders, prescriptions and payment information
- Review job/lab activity reports, manage the lab and provide communication as needed between MEC/clients/patients to ensure accurate and timely ordering and delivery
- Submit all insurance claims on time and with a high level of accuracy
- Manage insurance receivables to ensure timely payments, provide the necessary follow up with insurance companies on all dated receivables
- Complete all daily, weekly and monthly financial and management reports accurately on schedule
- Manage trial contact lens inventory, ensuring sufficient levels and organization

- Customer service: 5 years (Required)
