Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established procedures, following guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Serve food and beverages to customers efficiently and courteously, maintaining a positive in-person customer service experience.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing cash transactions.
- Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all areas meet health regulations and hygiene standards.
- Assist with food handling, portioning, and plating while adhering to dietary restrictions and special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, dishes, and dining areas regularly throughout shifts.
- Support catering or banquet events by setting up stations, serving guests, and managing food presentation with professionalism.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, food truck or hospitality is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures is essential.
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace and operating equipment safely.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests in person.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS system operation.
- Experience with fine dining or culinary environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with wine knowledge or beverage service is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
