Technician Applicator
Mosquito Joe of Seal Beach is hiring technicians!
We provide mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers, repelling and killing outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks. Our technicians are trained and licensed professionals who travel to customers' homes to apply barrier spray solutions that keep their yards mosquito free for 21 days taking great pride in customer service.
What Our Technicians Do
- Visually inspect and safely treat for mosquitoes, ticks, and/or fleas
- Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures
- Apply products according to Mosquito Joe policies/procedures and within legal compliance
- Maintain good customer relationships
- Take personal initiative and responsibility for correcting any problems
- Maintain chemical records according to state requirements via phone app
- Participate in team meetings
- Maintain van, equipment, and supplies
- Maintain licensing requirements and continuing education requirements
Job Requirements
- Minimum 18+ years old; 21 years old with valid driver's license
- Willingness to undergo the licensing program during training
- Pass license exam(s) within state timeline
- Able to walk property while carrying equipment weighing over 60lbs in warm temperatures
- Comfortable driving to customer locations and interacting with customers
- Self-confident; Professional; Friendly
- Good customer service skills
- Detail-oriented
- Reliable and Timely
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours
- Willing to market the Mosquito Joe service
