Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs to recommend appropriate products or services.
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and cash management systems, including handling cash drawers and performing cash balancing.
- Assist customers with retail lending inquiries, including loan processing and collections, ensuring a smooth experience from application to repayment.
- Maintain detailed records of sales, customer interactions, and financial transactions through data entry and financial software tools.
- Support store operations by managing retail math calculations, performing basic math tasks, and ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and guiding customers through product options or financial solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals, promote store promotions, and ensure a clean, organized shopping environment.
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for helping customers is essential.
- Familiarity with banking or financial services enhances your ability to assist with loan processing or collections.
- Experience working in a retail store environment with responsibilities such as cashiering or cash drawer handling is advantageous.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in retail math are necessary for accurate transaction processing and cash management.
- Knowledge of data entry procedures and familiarity with financial software tools will support efficient record keeping.
- Strong customer service skills are vital to creating positive shopping experiences and building lasting relationships.
- Prior experience with retail lending or cash handling will help you excel in this role.
