The Marketing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the department's daily operations and long-term projects. This position works closely with the product development team to assist in various administrative tasks, while helping to facilitate the smooth flow of information within the team and with our vendors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills. This candidate can hit the ground running and sees challenge as an opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Product Development Department.
- Assist with project management tasks for product launches, such as tracking timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Assist in preparing sales reports and launch spreadsheets.
- Assist with the creation of product branding, packaging, and imagery.
- Conduct research and gather data to support product development initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient communication and workflow.
- Handle incoming email correspondence and respond to vendor inquiries as needed.
- Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned by the Product Development Team and other departments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a product development or related environment.
- Creative thinker with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and adjust priorities as necessary.
- Strong interpersonal skills for independent work, as well as the ability to collaborate with the team and other departments.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative when needed.
