Position Overview:
The Parts Department Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of our parts and inventory operations. This includes sourcing, purchasing, organizing, and distributing parts and materials needed for field operations and service calls. This individual must be highly organized, proactive, and experienced in HVAC or a similar trade-based industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the parts department
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and records
- Order HVAC parts, tools, and equipment as needed
- Develop and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Coordinate parts delivery and distribution to technicians
- Track parts usage and forecast future needs
- Coordinate with technicians and dispatchers on parts needed for follow up service calls
- Implement inventory control systems and procedures
- Collaborate with service and install departments to align parts availability with scheduling
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or a similar industry required
- 2+ years of experience in inventory or warehouse management (preferred)
- Strong understanding of HVAC parts, components, and suppliers
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform occasional physical tasks
- Forklift certification or experience is a plus
- Must have a good driving record as you will be driving the company vehicles all over DFW
*Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Service Fusion experience a huge plus.
Please note; this is not a WFH position nor will it be in the future. We also do not provide relocation assistance or transportation (Gas, oil change, tires) reimbursement for coming to/from work.
