Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist supports the day-to-day Human Resources operations of the company and serves as the primary point of contact for employee-related matters. This role assists with recruitment, disciplinary actions, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration while ensuring company policies and procedures are consistently applied. Operating within an established HR structure under the guidance of leadership, the HR Coordinator coordinates HR processes, maintains accurate documentation, conducts research, gathers information, advises leadership, prepares documentation, and facilitates employee-related activities to ensure all HR functions are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable laws and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and hiring coordination
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring completion of all required employment documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and I-9 documentation in compliance with legal and company requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns, HR guidance, employment verifications, and benefits communications
- Manage benefits administration, including enrollments and employee communications
- Coordinate disciplinary meetings, employee relations matters, internal investigations, and corrective action documentation, including harassment and misconduct complaints
- Assist managers with coaching, counseling, conflict resolution, performance evaluations, and corrective action plans
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, labor law postings, and HR best practices
- Monitor and enforce company policies, procedures, standards of conduct, and workplace compliance through routine HR audits and inspections
- Coordinate and track employee training, certifications, licenses, and required credentials
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation for leadership
- Support payroll by maintaining accurate employee data and processing personnel changes
- Coordinate employee offboarding, including exit interviews and final documentation
- Ensure proper reporting, documentation, and administration of workplace injuries, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims, including hearing preparation
- Assist in maintaining and updating the employee handbook, policies, and HR procedures
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture
- Coordinate day-to-day Human Resources operations and administrative processes
- Attend all required meetings, training sessions, and company events
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity, professionalism, honesty, accountability, respect, and trust in all interactions
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must speak English and Spanish
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct at all times
- Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and employment laws
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Knowledge to execute Human resources tasks and managing budgets

Education:
- Degree or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience required.
- Experience handling employee relations, recruitment, and compliance preferred
- Experience in a standalone Human Resources role or similar environment preferred
Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
