JOB SUMMARY: We are a private fleet operator looking for an experienced Automotive Technician / Fleet Mechanic to lead our internal shop. We operate 140+ Toyota Priuses used for rideshare. Your goal is not to bill hours; your goal is uptime. We need a mechanic who can efficiently diagnose a P0A80 code, swap a hybrid battery, clean an EGR circuit, and perform standard suspension/brake work without needing a service advisor to hold their hand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General Maintenance: High-volume oil changes, fluid flushes, filters, and tire rotations.
- Hybrid Repair: Diagnosis and repair of High Voltage (HV) battery packs, inverter pumps, and cooling systems.
- Gen 3 Prius Prevention: Perform intake manifold and EGR cleanings to prevent head gasket failure (ZVW30 platform).
- Suspension & Brakes: Struts, shocks, sway bar links, pads, and rotors.
- Diagnostics: utilize Toyota Techstream to diagnose ABS codes, linear solenoid valves, and engine misfires.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 3+ years as an Automotive Technician, Mechanic, or Fleet Technician.
- Specialization: Strong preference for candidates with Toyota / Lexus experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with diagnostic scanners (Snap-On, Autel, or Techstream).
- Hybrid Safety: Experience working with high-voltage systems (Safety Plugs / HV Batteries).
- Tools: Must possess own set of professional-grade hand tools and tool storage.
- License: Valid Driver’s License required.

- Monday to Friday (Weekends optional/as needed)
- 8 hour shift
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
