The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen by cleaning dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, and other tools used during food preparation and service.
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards.
- Operate dishwashing machinery and ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and work surfaces.
- Properly dispose of waste and empty trash bins as needed.
- Assist kitchen staff by restocking clean dishes and kitchen tools.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report when stock is low.
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- No prior experience required, though previous kitchen experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
