Duties

- Support the development and execution of event marketing strategies to maximize attendance and engagement
- Manage event budgets by tracking expenses, negotiating contracts with vendors, and ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Utilize event management software and CRM systems to organize guest lists, registrations, and communication workflows
- Coordinate with catering teams, venue staff, and vendors to ensure seamless event operations and guest experiences
- Oversee setup and breakdown processes at event sites, ensuring all elements are in place according to plan
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and maintaining clear communication throughout the planning process
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts with vendors and venues
- Proven ability in upselling services or products to enhance event revenue opportunities
- Experience in event marketing, promotion strategies, and audience engagement techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for planning documents and presentations
- Managing event budgets effectively while adhering to financial constraints
- Skilled in project management with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with event management software tools such as Eventbrite or Cvent; CRM system proficiency is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and vendor negotiations
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including banquet setup, catering logistics, and guest services
- Ability to manage time efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in hospitality settings such as hotels, restaurants, or fundraising events is highly desirable
- Leadership qualities to coordinate teams during events and ensure smooth execution
