Member Duties : The AmeriCorps VISTA member will build sustainable systems that expand access to preventive health, community wellness, behavioral health, emergency preparedness, and community support services for economically disadvantaged individuals and families. The member will develop and facilitate community workshops on preventive health, wellness, and disaster preparedness; coordinate community health fairs; and support the planning of disaster response initiatives, including volunteer coordination and community collection and distribution centers during emergencies. The member will also develop community resource databases, partnership mapping tools, outreach materials, evaluation tools, and sustainability resources while strengthening partnerships and creating knowledge management systems.
