Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service to set the tone for their visit
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and reduce wait times
- Answer phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about the restaurant and reservations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and receipts with attention to detail and integrity
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
Skills
- Prior host/hostess experience or food service background preferred, with a strong focus on customer service excellence
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members
- Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including reservation management and guest services
- Excellent phone etiquette and hospitality skills to create a welcoming environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and transactions simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude
