What You'll Do
As a Teacher, you will:
- Implement KinderCare's curriculum to meet each child's unique needs
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication
- Support center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
- Collaborate with teachers, leadership, and community partners
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
Qualifications
Candidates must have:
- A passion for working with children and making a difference
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Education Requirement (must meet one of the following):
- Associate's Degree (AA) in any field, OR
- 48 completed college units, OR
- Passing score on a Paraprofessional Exam
Documentation Required:
- Transcripts, diploma, or exam results
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of Childcare Experience
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Ability to actively engage with children, including sitting, kneeling, bending, and participating in physical activities
- Ability to see, hear, read, write, and speak English effectively
Health & Safety Requirements
- Compliance with company health and safety policies
- Adherence to applicable state, local, and licensing requirements regarding childcare and school staff
