We're looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder who enjoys building things from the ground up, solving fabrication challenges, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Position Summary
As a Fabricator/Welder, you'll fabricate, fit, weld, and assemble custom components from engineering drawings. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing quality work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols
- Layout, fit, fabricate, and weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drill presses, ironworkers, and other shop equipment
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of custom and production projects
- Verify dimensions and ensure assemblies meet print specifications
- Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production personnel
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Inspect finished weldments to ensure they meet Die Craft's quality standards
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5+ years of fabrication and welding experience
- Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
- Proficiency with MIG welding
- Experience using common fabrication equipment and measuring tools
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Preferred
- TIG welding experience
- Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum
- Experience building fixtures, weldments, or custom fabrications
- Forklift and overhead crane experience
