Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and optimal service delivery
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management
- Manage food preparation and kitchen activities to maintain high standards of quality and safety
- Utilize POS systems.
- Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering, and waste reduction strategies
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold food handling standards
- Assist in budgeting, profit and loss analysis, and implementing cost control measures
- Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Support customer service initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly
- Participate in hiring processes including interviewing candidates to build a strong team of hospitality professionals
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a focus on food production and service excellence
- Strong knowledge of food safety management, food handling procedures, and culinary practices
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transactions and reporting
- Excellent team management skills with experience supervising staff in a hospitality environment
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, inventory control, and financial analysis
- Effective communication skills for managerial tasks including training, coaching, and staff development
- Familiarity with managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Experience in managing budgets, analyzing profit & loss statements, and implementing cost-saving initiatives
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production and kitchen management
