About Us
Dullat Dental Cosmetic & Implants is a growing cosmetic and implant-focused dental practice located in San Jose, serving the Almaden/Blossom Valley area. We use Dentrix Ascend for practice management and are building out a stronger front-office team so our patients get consistent, reliable service every day.
What You'll Do
- Present and close treatment plans clearly to patients, including higher-value implant and cosmetic cases, covering costs, insurance coverage, and financing/payment options
- Handle dental insurance billing: verifications, predeterminations, claims submission, follow-up on unpaid/denied claims, and posting payments
- Set up and manage patient financing (CareCredit, Proceed Finance, in-house payment plans) and manage account balances/collections professionally
- Work daily in Dentrix Ascend for scheduling, treatment planning, ledgers, and reporting
- Coordinate closely with the doctor and clinical team to keep treatment acceptance and case presentation running smoothly
- Step in on scheduling/front-desk coverage as needed so the office never grinds to a halt
- Help identify and fix billing bottlenecks or gaps in our current process
What We're Looking For (Required)
- 3-5 years of combined dental insurance billing AND treatment plan coordination experience — this is not an entry-level position
- Experience with Dentrix Ascend (or strong experience with Dentrix/similar dental practice management software, with willingness to get up to speed quickly on Ascend)
- Working knowledge of CDT codes, insurance verification, predeterminations, and claims follow-up/appeals for PPO and HMO plans
- Comfortable presenting and closing larger case plans (implants, cosmetic/veneer cases) — confident with financial conversations, not just scheduling
- Experience with patient financing options (CareCredit, Proceed Finance, Sunbit, or similar) and structuring in-house payment plans
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to work fully independently with minimal oversight
- Reliable on Fridays and Saturdays specifically - current part time, maybe 3rd day would be thursday/monday optional
Pay: $29.67 - $35.73 per hour
