Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Supervisor to join our team and ensure seamless operations. This role is vital in driving sales, managing daily activities, and fostering an engaging environment. As an Operations Supervisor, you will oversee staff performance, customer service excellence, and operational procedures to deliver outstanding results. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management.
- Lead and motivate the team through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manage employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, cash handling procedures, and operational policies.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within the retail industry or similar fast-paced environments.
- Extensive knowledge of retail management practices including inventory control, merchandising, POS systems, and sales management.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively in a retail setting.
- Experience with employee recruitment, training & development programs, and performance evaluations.
- Familiarity with budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and retail math principles.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational skills and time management.
- Previous experience in grocery stores or wireless sales environments is a plus but not required.
