We are actively seeking highly engaged, intentional, and service-oriented individuals for Part-time Toddler and Preschool qualified Teachers.

Work Schedule: 1pm -6 pm

Minimum Qualifications (Must Meet One Level):

Minimum Age: 18+ years old.

Experience: Required 6 months experience working with children (ages 5-12) in a licensed setting.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required, degree in Child Development or related field preferred.

At least 12 postsecondary units in Early Childhood Education or child development completed including Child Growth and Development, Child, Family and Community and program/curriculum.

Additional 3 units in Infant/Toddler Development required for Toddler Teacher positions.

Pediatric (EMSA) First Aid and Pediatric (EMSA) CPR certifications require within 30 days of hire. (The YMCA will provide training)

15-hour preventative health practice certifications within 90 days of hire. (Paid for by YMCA)

Complete YMCA Core trainings within first 60 days of employment.
