Job Overview
This is a regional truck driver position for a flatbed. Prefer flatbed experience but not a must. Pay will be 30% of the load. Driver will have access to load board to determine where they'd like to haul to and from and how much money they'd like to make. More money the truck makes, more money the driver makes. Also, tarping is optional. Truck comes with some amenities.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across regional routes.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing routes for fuel efficiency and safety.
- Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly according to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
- Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) and dangerous goods following all hazardous materials regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols during every trip.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or unforeseen delays to keep operations running smoothly.
- Deliver freight efficiently on route driving schedules while ensuring the load & unload process is completed accurately and safely.
- Handle logistics cargo with precision during loading and unloading activities, maintaining high standards for truck loading/unloading procedures.
- Document all delivery activities accurately in logs and reports, adhering strictly to safety standards for hazardous goods when applicable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving or delivery driving preferred.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for Hazmat and tanker loads highly desirable.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialty vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, hazard materials regulations, and safety standards.
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred; ability to handle manual handling tasks confidently.
- Excellent navigation skills using GPS systems for efficient route planning across OTR routes.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely while complying with logistics cargo handling procedures.
- Good physical condition to manage manual handling tasks involved in truck loading/unloading activities.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and ensuring compliance during transportation of dangerous goods or hazardous materials when qualified.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,400.00 per week
