Part-Time Dental Hygienist – Mondays Only (South Lamar, Austin)
Our private dental office in South Lamar is looking for a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team on Mondays, 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Schedule:
- Mondays, 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM (with 30-minute lunch) – Part-time

Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient
- Review patient medical and dental histories
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Perform screenings, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, fluoride, and sealant applications
- Identify and educate patients on conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure instructions
- Take and interpret digital X-rays and iTero scans
- Assist the dentist in treatment planning, including oral cancer screenings
- Maintain accurate documentation and charts
- Understand PPO dental insurance basics
Skills & Qualifications:
- Licensed Dental Hygienist in Texas (required)
- Strong knowledge of dental health, safety, and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and friendly
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role
- Experience with digital systems and iTero scanning (preferred)
- Laser certification (a plus)
- Diploma in Dental Hygiene (required; advanced degree a plus)
