Certified Dealer Instructor (CDI) Process Specialist This is a high-visibility, long-term 2+ year contract opportunity paying up to $35/hr, including 1 week of PTO. Operating fully onsite, this position directly impacts the quality and consistency of John Deere's global dealer-delivered training infrastructure. You will manage incoming inquiries, coordinate class scheduling, administer student enrollments within the learning management system (LMS), and cultivate strong relationships with dealer partners.
Position Details & Compensation
- Pay Rate: Up to $35/hr (W2).
- Location Path: 100% Onsite Only (no remote work allowed). Open to candidates working from either the Wichita, KS Training Center or John Deere Financial in Johnston, IA. (Please ensure your location preference is clearly stated at the top of your resume).
- Duration: 2+ Years (Providing excellent long-term corporate assignment stability).
- Shift & Hours: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday with minimal overtime required.
- Environment: Professional business casual dress code. No driving or vehicle operation is required for this role.

Core Responsibilities
- LMS Administration & Class Logistics: Execute essential training requests inside the Learning Management System—including creating technical scheduled offerings, enrolling students, closing out completed modules, and validating certifications.
- Inquiry Tool Management: Monitor, prioritize, and efficiently resolve dealer and instructor inquires funneling through a centralized corporate help desk tool under fast turnaround expectations.
- Marketing & Educational Media Creation: Assist in building instructional and promotional communications, including PowerPoint decks, short videos, training bulletins, and localized marketing materials to promote upcoming educational opportunities.
- Dealer Presentations & Relationships: Present instructional processes and system information directly to dealership personnel in small group settings and 1:1 consultation loops.
- Process Enhancement Projects: Support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining dealer optimization tools and driving optimization tasks to revolutionize adult learning frameworks across the channel.
Required Skills & Experience
- Administrative Baseline: 1 to 3 years of dedicated administrative coordination, clerical support, or accounting support experience.
- Task Prioritization: Proven capacity to self-drive workloads, organize multiple moving projects concurrently, and adapt quickly to shifting priority windows.
- Communication & Tech Literacy: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proficient, agile mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Team Synergy: Demonstrated history of working cooperatively alongside internal corporate groups and external business stakeholders.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Dedicated background in Adult Education, curriculum coordination, or facilitating professional development tracks.
- Prior workspace experience utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS) or multi-layered relational databases.
- Direct, hands-on experience working with or supporting a John Deere dealership environment.
- A completed college degree, with specialized paths in Education, Agricultural Education, or Agribusiness highly preferred.
