As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Audio Assistant to support our team in delivering seamless, professional events.
Position Overview
The Audio Assistant plays a key hands-on role in our operations. This individual will support the setup and breakdown of audio, lighting, and AV equipment at events, and ensure our equipment is well-organized, maintained, and properly tracked in storage.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading AV, audio, and lighting equipment for events
- Support on-site setup and breakdown of sound systems, DJ gear, lighting fixtures, and AV components
- Assist with sound checks and technical difficulties during events
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage/warehouse
- Track, label, and manage inventory using our digital inventory tracker
- Report equipment damages, malfunctions, or missing items promptly
- Help troubleshoot minor technical issues during setup
- Follow all safety protocols and respect client venues
- Occasionally assist with cable management and other behind-the-scenes duties during live events
Requirements
- Interest or experience in audio engineering, live sound, lighting, or event production
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy gear (50+ lbs)
- Reliable transportation to and from events and warehouse
- Punctual, professional, and a team player
- Attention to detail and ability to follow checklists
- Availability on weekends and evenings (typical event schedule)
- Familiarity with audio and lighting equipment is a plus but not required — training provided

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
