About the Role:
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our facility remains in top condition. You’ll oversee maintenance activities, support our staff, and ensure that our residents enjoy a safe and comfortable environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in maintenance and a desire to contribute to the well-being of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
- Maintain and repair equipment and systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
- Conduct routine inspections and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized workshop and manage supplies and tools effectively.
- Maintain Life Safety Code compliance: conducting month fire drills, testing generator, sprinkler inspections, water temperature, vehicle inspections, bed inspections, etc.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least one year of maintenance experience preferred.
- Proficient in the use of tools and equipment for various repair tasks.
- Knowledgeable about plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliance repair.
- Familiarity with Infection Control and Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that involve stooping, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and analyzing data.
