Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items including wine, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Process sales transactions efficiently, handle cash and credit card payments accurately, and manage POS systems like OpenTable for reservations and seating arrangements.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety.
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth service flow.
- Build strong guest relations through attentive service, addressing inquiries promptly, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all diners.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Hospitality or serving experience that showcases your ability to provide guest-centric service in a lively setting.

Pay: From $5.50 per hour
