Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
- Manage guest interactions with friendly phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Restock supplies, utensils, and condiments to ensure smooth service flow
- Support catering and banquet setups as needed for special events or large groups
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending
- Familiarity with kitchen tools, knife skills, meat cutting, and meal preparation techniques
- Experience with POS systems like OpenTable or Aloha POS is a plus
- Customer service background with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
