We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Route Technician to operate our custom bin cleaning trucks and trailers and deliver high-quality service to residential customers. This role involves driving established service routes, operating specialized trash bin cleaning equipment, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards. As a key representative of the company, you will interact with customers and uphold our reputation for professionalism and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Vehicle Operation: Drive company vehicles safely through residential neighborhoods across Broward and Palm Beach County while following all traffic laws.
- Equipment Operation: Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer. Use hydraulic bin lifting systems, high-pressure washing equipment, and wastewater recovery systems efficiently and safely.
- Environmental Compliance: Follow strict zero-runoff procedures by capturing and properly disposing of wastewater at approved facilities in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with homeowners, property managers, and HOAs. Help build community awareness of our services.
- Worksite Cleanliness: Ensure each property is left clean and orderly, with bins properly returned and no standing water or debris remaining.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate truck and trailer in residential neighborhoods.
- Ability to back up truck with trailer in confined space.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and stay on schedule.
- Ability to use routing software, keep track of time and service completion.
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in South Florida heat and varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable operating machinery and wearing required PPE, including safety goggles, hearing protection, waterproof gear, and steel-toe boots.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
