Preloved is a Finnish-inspired resale marketplace where sellers rent weekly booths to showcase their curated secondhand items. Think boutique thrift — clean, rotating, and community-driven.
We provide the location, marketing, customer traffic, and selling platform. Our sellers bring incredible inventory. Together, we create an experience that helps people earn money, find great items, and keep quality products in circulation.
As we continue expanding, we're looking for leaders who want more than a traditional retail management job.
The Role - This is NOT a Typical Store Manager Position
This role is for someone who wants to run a business.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day success of the store, including revenue growth, seller success, team leadership, customer experience, booth occupancy, operational excellence, and profitability.
You'll have significant autonomy, real responsibility, and measurable performance goals. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems, drives growth, and treats the store like it is their own.

What You’ll Own
Store Growth & Revenue
- Drive booth occupancy to 100%.
- Maintain bookings at least two weeks in advance.
- Recruit new sellers through referrals, community outreach, social media, local partnerships, and customer interactions.
- Identify opportunities to increase store traffic, revenue, profitability, and seller retention.
- Help sellers maximize sales and profitability from their booths.
Store Operations
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed daily.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Ensure all booths are polished, shoppable, and visually appealing every day.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and place orders before items run low.
- Ensure store systems and processes operate smoothly and consistently.
Team Leadership
- Hire, train, coach, and develop Preloved Pros.
- Establish clear expectations and accountability.
- Conduct regular employee coaching and development conversations.
- Build a positive, productive, and results-oriented culture.
- Lead by example in work ethic, professionalism, and customer service.
Customer & Seller Experience
- Ensure every customer interaction reflects the Preloved brand.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Support sellers in achieving strong results.
- Encourage reviews, referrals, repeat bookings, and long-term relationships.
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Ensure daily social media activity is completed.
- Respond to customer messages and inquiries promptly.
- Generate content that highlights sellers, products, and the Preloved experience.
- Actively promote the store and increase awareness within the local community.
Financial Stewardship
- Protect company assets and resources.
- Ensure proper collection of fees and accurate reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Operate the business with an ownership mindset.
