American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications with a minimum of 2 years of CT experience.

Acute care hospital setting in a diagnostic imaging department
-
Performs CT procedures as primary responsibility, with potential radiographer duties including radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable radiographic exams
-
4x10-hour day shifts, with shift times of 10:00 AM–9:30 PM or 12:00 PM–10:30 PM
-
Weekend, on-call, and holiday rotation required

Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required

Graduate of an accredited radiography program; education verification required

Active ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required

IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required

Current BLS/BCLS certification required

State license required if applicable

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic CT procedures, corroborating patient clinical history with procedures, preparing patients, and operating imaging equipment and accessories

Prepares and administers contrast media and maintains IV access as appropriate

Initiates basic life support when necessary and applies patient safety principles throughout all aspects of care

May provide practical instruction for students and support staff
