Position Summary
Rolling Suds is seeking a highly motivated Business Manager to become a key leader within our growing power washing business. This is a hands-on role designed for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants to learn all aspects of operating a successful service business.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, customer-focused, and capable of supporting sales, administration, customer service and operations (as needed). Over time, this individual will become the owner's right hand and help manage many of the day-to-day activities of the business.
This position offers a unique opportunity to learn how to run a growing company while working directly with ownership. As Rolling Suds grows, the compensation will grow through salary increases and performance bonuses tied directly to revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence. Our goal is to build a leadership team that can eventually run the business independently of the owners.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Follow up on inbound leads and quote requests
- Schedule site visits and estimate appointments
- Assist with commercial prospecting and customer outreach
- Prepare proposals and estimates
- Track sales opportunities and customer follow-up activities in company CRM
- Support networking and community relationship-building efforts
- Help maintain CRM, sales pipeline and revenue reporting
Administrative Support
- Manage customer communications and scheduling
- Process invoices and assist with collections follow-up
- Prepare weekly KPI and performance reports
- Assist with vendor relationships
- Support payroll preparation and administrative tasks
Leadership Development
- Learn all major functions of the business
- Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives
- Develop and document standard operating procedures
- Take ownership of special projects that improve efficiency and profitability
- Serve as a stand-in for ownership when necessary
Operations Management
- Support the Director of Operations in the following areas as needed
- Assist with daily scheduling of crews and equipment
- Coordinate jobs to maximize truck utilization and efficiency
- Monitor job progress and communicate with customers
- Resolve customer concerns and service issue
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in operations, project management, sales, customer service, or business management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with customers, employees, and vendors
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based business software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home services, construction, property management, landscaping, or related industries
- Experience managing employees
- Sales or business development experience
- Familiarity with CRM, scheduling, or field service software

Work Environment & Expectations
This is not a traditional office-based management role.
The Business Manager is expected to spend the majority of their time in the field, meeting with customers, visiting job sites, supporting crews, conducting estimates, building relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
A typical week may include:
- Conducting site visits and estimates
- Meeting with commercial property managers and decision-makers
- Visiting active job sites and coordinating with the Operations Manager to ensure customer satisfaction
- Networking and business development activities
- Following up with prospects and customers
While some administrative work can be completed remotely or from the office, this role is primarily focused on driving revenue, operational excellence, and customer relationships in the field.
The ideal candidate enjoys being out in the community, interacting with customers, solving problems, and helping grow a business rather than spending most of their day behind a desk.
