Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with inquiries related to heavy equipment parts, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications, and order status updates.
- Manage order processing through advanced order management systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to coordinate procurement management, sourcing, and negotiation of parts to meet demand planning requirements.
- Maintain detailed inventory control by utilizing warehouse management systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and AS400 databases.
- Support shipping & receiving operations, including verifying shipments, coordinating logistics, and ensuring proper documentation for shipping and receiving activities.
- Assist with pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and procurement processes to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and automotive diagnostics skills to identify parts compatibility, troubleshoot issues, and support automotive repair or dealership service needs.
- Enter data accurately into inventory databases while maintaining meticulous records of purchase orders, supplier communications, and inventory levels.
- Contribute to warehouse experience initiatives by supporting inventory management practices such as stock rotation, cycle counts, and equipment repair coordination.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management or procurement within heavy equipment or automotive industries.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems, ERP platforms (such as SAP or Oracle), and order management software is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, auto body repair processes, or dealership service environments is a plus.
- Prior work involving shipping & receiving procedures, inventory control, or logistics operations enhances your fit for this role.
- Knowledge of OEM parts sourcing, sourcing strategies for heavy equipment components, and negotiation skills are beneficial.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with familiarity in manufacturing or HVAC systems supports effective troubleshooting and parts identification.
- Strong data entry skills along with attention to detail ensure accurate recordkeeping across multiple platforms like AS400 or CMMS systems.
