Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination.
- Leasing & Marketing: Oversee property leasing processes, including marketing vacancies, conducting property tours, and negotiating lease agreements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and other local, state, and federal legal requirements.
- Administration & Reporting: Utilize property management software to maintain accurate data entry, filing systems, invoicing, and performance reporting.
- Legal & Contractual Duties: Handle administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, contracts, and lease documentation.
- Facilities Management: Coordinate property maintenance and facility management activities to ensure the optimal, safe condition of the properties.
- Tenant Relations: Resolve tenant conflicts promptly and confidently through effective conflict management strategies, all while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Team Support: Perform additional administrative or operational duties as assigned by management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven background in property leasing, sales, facilities management, and property maintenance coordination. (e.g., 5+ years preferred, High School diploma or GED, Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience).
- Software Proficiency: Strong experience with property management software, specifically AMSI, alongside accurate data entry skills.
- Legal Knowledge: Solid understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative procedures.
- Negotiation & Sales: Excellent negotiation skills for securing lease agreements, contract reviews, and identifying upselling opportunities.
- Communication: Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and relationship management abilities.
- Problem Solving: Effective conflict resolution skills to successfully manage tenant disputes or operational issues.
