We’re a fast-growing, high-volume estate planning law firm with offices in both Fort Mill, SC and Charlotte, NC. We’re looking for an Estate Planning Coordinator / Legal Assistant who thrives in a busy environment and is excited about the opportunity to grow with a supportive, client-focused team.
This role involves significant daily in-person client interaction—you’ll be the friendly, knowledgeable face clients rely on throughout their estate planning journey. From consultations through signings, you’ll keep clients informed, comfortable, and confident. Job Responsibilities
· Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout their estate planning journey.
· Support attorneys during consultations by taking notes, preparing follow-up tasks, and helping clients understand next steps.
· Coordinate signing appointments, prepare documents, and ensure all details are accurate and complete.
· Conduct and witness signings (notary responsibilities included), walk clients through binders and final paperwork, and explain transitions to the next team.
· Manage scheduling, invoices, and client communication with professionalism and clarity.
· Proofread and finalize documents before execution, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
· Maintain attorney calendars and audit for accuracy.
· Provide a warm client experience—yes, even making signings a little more enjoyable (cookies included!).
· Participate in regular team meetings and assist with occasional front office support.
Qualifications
· 2–3 years of law firm experience a plus (Estate Planning preferred).
· High proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
· Familiarity with legal case management software such as Clio or Lawmatics is preferred.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize proactively.

Location
This is a full-time, in-office position primarily based in our Charlotte office near Ballantyne, with training and occasional work in Fort Mill. The office assignment may change based on the Firm’s needs and future growth.
Compensation & Benefits
· Hourly Rate: $20.00–$24.00, depending on experience.
