We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Compliance Technician who is passionate about food safety, quality systems, and ensuring every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards. 2nd Shift: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday ($1.00/hour shift differential).
Training: New hires will complete approximately three months of training on 1st Shift, working 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., before transitioning to the regular 2nd Shift schedule.

This position may be exposed to varying temperature changes, loud noises, and the handling of allergen ingredients, including wheat, milk, eggs, tree nuts, and sesame.
What You'll Do
As a QA Compliance Technician, you'll play a critical role in protecting product quality, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting regulatory compliance throughout our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify food safety and product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Conduct sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and production areas.
- Review, maintain, and organize quality records, production logs, and documentation.
- Verify recipes, specifications, and manufacturing requirements are followed accurately.
- Monitor compliance with food safety programs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Perform routine inspections and audits of production, packaging, and warehouse operations.
- Inspect and test raw materials, work-in-process products, and finished goods.
- Initiate corrective actions for non-conforming products and process deviations.
- Manage quality control holds and defective material reporting.
- Perform data entry and maintain audit and production documentation.
- Verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and food safety program requirements.
- Support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory inspections.
- Provide food safety and quality training for production employees.
- Participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum one year of quality control experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based systems
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Understanding of food safety and quality principles
Preferred
- Associate degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or related field
- Food production or bakery manufacturing experience
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) training or certification
- Experience participating in audits and compliance programs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30-50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
- Ability to bend, crouch, climb stairs, and move throughout production and warehouse areas
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
Work Environment
This position works in office, warehouse, and food production environments and may involve exposure to:
- Manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Loud noises and vibration
- Hot, cold, wet, and humid conditions
- Food allergens and raw ingredients
- Temperature-controlled production and storage areas
