POSITION TYPE: Full-time
LOCATION: DeNooyer Ford - Vicksburg
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales and Back-up Business Manager (Finance Manager) sells automobiles by understanding customer needs and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features of vehicles to meet those needs. Sales/Back-up F&I is also responsible for developing and qualifying buyers as well as closing sales. In addition, this individual also helps to provide the best financing and insurance products to suit individual needs while ensuring maximum profits for the dealer within the F&I office. Typically, this individual will spend 85% of their time on the sales floor and 15% in the Finance office depending on dealership needs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to operate a computer system
- Valid and insurable driver’s license
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales-
- Demonstrate high moral code and ethical standards in all aspects of job
- Effectively take each client through the Road to the Sale (see list for complete requirements)
1. Establish a business relationship

3. Set up the deal-trade appraisal

8. Deliver the Vehicle
- Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company standard
- Maintain a three-month avg. of 9 cars sold per month
- Actively assist any guest that needs help
- Maintain current product knowledge as well as manufacturer and dealer certification requirements
F&I-
- Process financing and leasing deals accurately and secure approval through the proper federal, state and corporate channels.
- Process all state title and licensing documents
- Must present aftermarket products and extended warranties with a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies
- Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle finance departments
- Must provide a thorough explanation of vehicle financing and insurance to customers
- Work with the title office to ensure accuracy in paper and title work
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONISIBILITIES:
- Relate positively with diverse groups of people (customers and staff)
- Must maintain a professional image and positively represent DeNooyer Ford
- All other duties assigned
PHYSICAL AND ENVIROMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to sit at a computer for several hours at a time
- Ability to stand or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and stretch
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Ability to work in conditions such as: varying temperatures and weather elements; noise, dust, and fumes
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
