Mover, Driver, Manager
Attention Firemen, Firefighters and Fire Cadets. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated furniture movers and packers for your days off from firefighting career. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by efficiently moving items from residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Responsibilities
- Uniformed work staff reporting to North Georgetown/south Florence location at 7:30 am Monday – Friday. (Saturdays can be accommodated upon request)
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service throughout the packing and moving process.
- Driving trucks when comfortable handling driving tasks.
- Create a clean, safe and organized work environment during each move.
- Communicate with all team members throughout the day all jobs are being handled efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in moving is preferred but not required.
- Accurate customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly.
- Willing to work Monday – Friday when off from the FD or candidate process
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis.
- A valid driver's license

Job Type: Part-time if currently working as a Firefighter or Full-time if Firefighter Candidate
Pay: $20-$30 per hour
Expected hours: 20-30 per week, 30 plus per week if student
Work Location: On the road, Meeting at 7:30am Monday-Friday
