Job Summary
RN-NURSE
Part time (30 hour) position to provide monitoring of medication administration in accordance with the state-mandated Medication Administration Program (MAP) within our residential environments. Includes medication monitoring and direct nursing responsibilities within campus-based programs. Provide medication education for youth and staff. Ensure families receive medication education regarding uses and the side effects of medication. Consultation with and education of youth regarding medical conditions, infection control and community resources available to youth with medical needs. Provide support to staff in ensuring compliance with all applicable health, medical, and medication administration guidelines. Collaborative approach and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team including community partners is required. After hours on call responsibilities specifically for medication administration issues.
Qualifications and Skills
Current Massachusetts R.N. license is required. Two years of relevant experience, knowledge of child/adolescent development, and psychopharmacology is required.
