About the Position
V&R Gutter and Window Cleaning LLC is a growing local exterior cleaning company looking for a motivated and confident Door-to-Door Sales Representative to help us generate new residential customers.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is outgoing, competitive, comfortable talking to new people, and wants the ability to earn more based on performance.
No previous door-to-door experience is required. We will provide training.
What You’ll Do
- Door knock in residential neighborhoods throughout Rhode Island and surrounding areas
- Speak directly with homeowners about our services
- Generate and book qualified jobs for our cleaning crews
- Promote gutter cleaning, window cleaning, roof washing, and other exterior cleaning services
- Accurately record customer information and scheduled jobs
- Follow our simple sales process and pricing guidelines
- Represent V&R professionally and respectfully
- Follow up with interested homeowners when necessary
What We’re Looking For
- Confident and comfortable speaking with homeowners
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable walking and working outdoors
- Willing to learn our sales process
- Sales experience is a plus, but not required
- Reliable transportation is preferred
Compensation
This is a performance-based sales position with commission opportunities.
The more completed business you generate, the more you can earn. High-performing representatives will have opportunities for increased commission, bonuses, and additional responsibility as our sales team grows.
Full compensation details will be explained during the interview.
Training
You will not be thrown into the position without training.
New representatives will receive hands-on training covering:
- Our services and pricing
- How to approach homeowners
- Our door-to-door sales script
- Handling common objections
- Booking customers correctly
- Tracking your sales
- How commissions are calculated
You will also have the opportunity to train directly in the field before working independently.
