About the Role
A licensed residential detox and treatment facility in Santa Clarita is seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective clients calling in. You'll guide them through the admissions process with compassion, professionalism, and urgency, helping connect people in need with the care that can change their lives.
This is a part-time position to start, with the potential to grow as our census expands.
What You'll Do
- Field inbound calls from prospective clients and their families
- Convert warm leads into admissions by building rapport and guiding callers through next steps
- Verify insurance benefits and gather intake information
- Coordinate with clinical and medical staff to facilitate smooth admissions
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM and follow up promptly on all inquiries
- Represent the facility with warmth, discretion, and a client-first approach
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in the behavioral health, substance use, or addiction treatment industry (required)
- Call center or high-volume phone experience (required)
- Strong closing and rapport-building skills comfortable converting inbound leads
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and confidentiality (HIPAA awareness a plus)
- Reliable, organized, and able to work both on-site and remotely
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Schedule
Part-time to start. Flexibility on days/shifts; some availability for evenings or weekends preferred to capture inbound call volume.
Compensation
$20–$25/hour, based on experience.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
