We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Parts Manager and Service Advisor to join our team. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee parts inventory management while delivering outstanding service to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, supply chain expertise, and excellent communication skills to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Manage the procurement, sourcing, and inventory control of parts and supplies using ERP systems and order management software
- Oversee warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and equipment repair parts
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms to optimize costs
- Coordinate with the automotive service team to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and maintenance
- Utilize automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to assist customers with service inquiries and vehicle repairs
- Maintain accurate data entry for parts orders, inventory levels, and procurement records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Support demand planning and logistics efforts to streamline supply chain processes
Experience
- Proven experience in dealership or automotive service environments with a strong background in parts management or procurement management
- Familiarity with automotive repair procedures, OEM parts sourcing, and auto body repair processes
- Hands-on warehouse experience including forklift operation, shipping & receiving, and inventory control
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as AS400 or similar order management platforms
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with mechanical understanding to manage supplier relationships effectively
- Experience working with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment repair procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
