Nurse Practitioner Job Description
Our Neurology practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of medical protocols and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. Able to work Mon-Fri in our clinic
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring appropriate management of infectious diseases
- Able to administer nerve block and botox or willing to learn
- Maintain accurate patient records, including coding using ICD-10 standards.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Familiarity with coding practices, particularly ICD-10.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office enviroment
